Finally Returning To Australia, Faithless Are Paying Homage To The Beloved Maxi Jazz While Looking To The Future

SINGLE PREMIERE: The Gypsy Scholars - 'Cold Hands'

Smooth horns and flawless harmonies, what more could you want?

Canberra indie-folk quartet, The Gypsy Scholars, are kicking off 2018 by gifting us with a charming new single entitled Cold Hands, the first taste of their upcoming debut EP.

Full of rounded guitars, smooth horns and flawless harmonies, this is the first tease the band have given us off their debut EP - the recording of which, according to band member Alec Brinsmead, was an exciting move forward.

"Going into the studio to record our debut EP definitely felt like a major step for us as a band," Brinsmead said.

"We never wanted to rush the process, although it’s something we’ve literally talked about since day one. Cold Hands was a pretty obvious choice for the first single off the EP, we all genuinely like the song and we did from the first time it was brought it to the group."

The band is hitting the road for The Cold Hands Tour on the back of the single, playing Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Newcastle and Manly before wrapping up with a set of hometown gigs in Canberra.
