Channelling the likes of Franz Ferdinand, Arctic Monkeys and more, Brisbane quartet The Dollar Bill Murrays have unleashed an insanely catchy new single in The Shape You Take.
The supercharged fuzz-rock partystarter is their second release since 2017’s acclaimed Always On EP and fittingly comes with a run of national dates in support, kicking off later this month.
Fans will be able to grab a copy on vinyl, thanks to the legends over at Valley Heat Records.
"Every recording that TDBM has released since their inception has grown in maturity, complexity and down right dance-ability,” Valley Heat founder John Russell said.

“When we heard The Shape You Take we knew it was a tune that had to be on wax - not only for fans, but for DJs who want to kick their sets up a notch."
The band took an interesting path to The Shape You Take, employing a ceramic bowl for the bridge (which was pitch-shifted), bassist Paul Ballam-Cross using only his pinky finger at certain times to get a crunchy tone and singer Felix Lindgren driving his amp so hard it burnt out.
The Dollar Bill Murrays’ The Shape You Take single tour kicks off later this month with a hometown gig before taking on Sydney and Melbourne; check out theGuide for all the details.
