Victorian indie rockers The Settlement return with their first new music since 2019's Take It Slow.
Premiering today via The Music, new track Wasted “started as a little basement demo”.
“The song was penned about the battles of addiction which led to an internal discussion about the thin line between addiction and pleasure,” The Settlement said.
It was written and recorded throughout 2020 with members split across regional Victoria and metropolitan Melbourne.
“The challenges of 2020 made it difficult for us to get together, thus developing Wasted over countless Zoom meetings was a welcomed distraction to what was happening around.
