SINGLE PREMIERE: Lucy Francesca Dron - 'What Is Next?'

Aussie indie rock artist Lucy Francesca Dron's new single, What Is Next?, isn't officially out until this Friday but you can hear it in full right now!

The Brisbane-based songwriter's latest track, premiering on theMusic.com.au today, is the first taste of new music this year. 

"What Is Next? refers to the unanswerable question of what the future holds as well as what comes after this life," Dron told The Music.

"This song reflects my experience of existential depression following me into my life and choices.

"I wrote What Is Next? during a transitional point where I decided to pursue music and put myself out there into the community after spending many years stuck within myself struggling to connect with people. 

"While there were many positive experiences I kept falling into a nihilistic mindset and this song encapsulates that experience."

Dron is also expected to release her new EP in 2021, the follow-up to her 2017 debut.
