To help you get in that romantic mood ahead of Friday, burgeoning Australian songwriter Laura Ingram has gifted new tune, Valentine's Day, which we are proud to present on theMusic.com.au today. 

The new single, which showcases the Canberra-via-Melbourne artist's powerful vocals, brings into question the pressure placed on 14 February.

"The single was written out of shame, anger and sadness, but now I realise that Valentine’s Day is actually an opportunity to connect to yourself and experience nurture & empowerment," Ingram told The Music.

"I love that songwriting and music can transform your perspective and shed light on your darkness."
