Emergent electro-pop songstress Isadoré has unveiled her magnetic new single, Lose Control, which The Music is stoked to be premiering today.
Isadoré is the stage moniker of Townsville-bred, Melbourne-based singer-songwriter Isabelle Reynaud, who has channeled her existing experience with the live music scene into crafting a polished and pulsating follow-up to her first single, Strangers.
The muso calls on a broad range of musical influences in making her melodies, citing the likes of Rene Aubry, Philip Glass, Sergei Prokofiev, Serge Houpin and more — a little bit of "everything and anything", as she puts it.
"I love layers, hooks and big sounds," she explained in a statement, and those proclivities shine through in Lose Control's driving beats and infectious instrumentation, while Isadoré's assured and alluring vocal tones pull everything together with distinctive flair.
Isadoré is now ramping up for the release of her four-track debut EP, Fight Or Flight, undoubtedly sure to be accompanied in the near future by some additional live dates.
