The Qld four-piece will be on the road over the next few weeks to show off their new material.

More Electric Zebra More Electric Zebra

Brisbane indie-rockers Electric Zebra have been on a bit of a roll lately, having performed at major events such as Shakafest and BIGSOUND along with nabbing support slots for the likes of Screamfeeder and Horror My Friend, and they're keeping that momentum purring along with their jangly new single Serpico.

Their second release for 2017 — following the May release of previous cut I BlinkSerpico is a bona fide earworm filled with catchy hooks, big riffs and a wailing solo for good measure, showcasing the band at their most assured and accomplished to date.

The tune was recorded at Brissy's Shed Studios by revered local producer Bryce Moorhead (Violent Soho, Walken), and hopefully serves as an indicator of what to expect from the ascendant Qld four-piece as they look to move forward from last year's well-received Ambition EP into their next chapter.

Electric Zebra will be on the road over the next few weeks touring in service of the new single, so fans along the east and southern coasts will have ample chance to get out to a gig and see the boys in action. They'll kick off at home, with a show at the Bloodhound Bar this Saturday, 28 October, before heading on to additional gigs in Adelaide, Melbourne and Sydney in November.
