SINGLE PREMIERE: DeliPres – ‘Masochist’

"I seem to have found my place.”

More DeliPres DeliPres

Having previously produced for Imbi The Girl, Johniepee and more, eclectic Sydney instrumentalist Patrick Clody, aka DeliPres, makes a bold statement with his debut solo single.

Premiering today via The Music, Masochist is a grungy dance track with wholesome distorted vocals.

“I chose to write this song after falling in love with someone who made me feel good in my own skin, this coming after years spent in the wrong relationships that only accentuated my downfalls and rocked my self-worth,” Clody told The Music.

“I see this song as a form of weary but euphoric triumph where I acknowledge the weaknesses that make me who I am while simultaneously feeling elated that I seem to have found my place.”

It was due to the COVID-19 lockdown that Clody found the time to dedicate to his solo work and fans can expect more releases later this year, in the form of DeliPres and some exciting collaborations.
