Gather round, kids, Irish-Australian singer-songwriter Chris Allan has a tale to tell in the form of his new single, Drowning Season.
A haunting, melancholic tune moved forward by striking percussion and Allan’s wearied vocals, the song was inspired by a Northern English folk tale.
"A small town has lain deserted for over 50 years, and it is said that there were no men living there for a long time before that,” Allan said
“It is said the men became possessed and walked to their deaths in the town's annually flooding river"
