SINGLE PREMIERE: Canary - 'Two Step'

Vibrant, rollicking indie rockers Canary are taking flight again with a brand new track under their wing and we've got the exclusive premiere today on theMusic.com.au. 

Two Step is the band's first single since 2016's I Am Lion, taken off a forthcoming third album. It is bright, bubbly and bound to worm its way into your head. 

Speaking about the song songwriter Matthew Kenneally said, "The song explores the experiential reality of holding contradictory and competing perspectives, opinions, needs and desires, all inside your own head. It explores that feeling of being ill-equipped to deal with this sort of internal contradiction and tension. 

"It's always been a really fun song to play live and it certainly was really fun to record and mix. In general, this new record will have more 'fun' moments than in previous records, while still exploring the heavier personal themes our fans have come to expect from us."
