WA lo-fi alt-rocker Benjamin Witt is set to shake things up in the second half of 2018, today unveiling a formidable new single while preparing to debut his new live band/show.
The arrival is Kamikaze is another exciting taste of what to expect from the multi-instrumentalist and former The Chemist frontman’s upcoming album, due for release later this year.
"It’s about a gnarly bee, going in to sting some fool, and the DNA of the earth,” Witt said of Kamikaze .
“Musical informants include Mulatu Astatke and Elza Soares. Primarily a DIY bedroom 'sitch with Ginoli (James Ireland of POND) sprinkling that ‘vibraphone’ sonic garnish at the end."
