Asha JefferiesBrisbane singer-songwriter Asha Jefferies is set for a massive few months, today dropping a brand new indie pop gem ahead of her BIGSOUND showcases.
Officially out this Friday, Everybody Talks is taken from Jefferies’ forthcoming October EP.
Jefferies said the track was about a falling out she had with a friend.
“We never spoke again, I heard a lot though,” she said.
“The whole experience left me feeling voiceless and powerless and it wasn't until I wrote this song that I felt like I took my power back and made room for some closure about it all.”
Jefferies is still riding a wave of success from her last single, Chaos, which saw her shortlisted for the Vanda & Young Songwriting Competition, score a Queensland Music Award nomination and more.
