Single title? Eye To Eye
What's the song about? Some girls are more concerned about how their boyfriend appears to their friends on Facebook than who they actually are.
How long did it take to write/record? We recorded the drums for ten songs in two days at Jim Moginie's studio in Brookvale. I took those stems home and recorded the rest whenever I had a day off work.

Is this track from a forthcoming release/existing release? Hopefully some rad label will reach out and give us a hand. Mixing, mastering, PR etc. cost a lot of dough. I'd like to have an album off the bat. That's just me though.
What was inspiring you during the song's writing and recording? Heaps of classic Australian surf film soundtracks, for example, The Innermost Pure Limits Of Fun. Anything that captures that '70s freewheeling enjoyment of the simple things. And my mate's break-up with a rich chick.
We'll like this song if we like... Not 'liking' gratuitous couple shots on Facebook or guys who get dressed by their girlfriend. You might like The Beatles.
Do you play it differently live? We have a real dramatic ending. Sometimes you gotta do that to give people closure, man, that's important... It involves a B7 chord, apparently that changed everything for Paul McCartney.
When and where is your launch/next gig? We're playing Volumes 2015, a festival in Sydney on 29 Aug. There are heaps of great bands on the line-up and the venues are the best in Sydney. We're stoked to play.
