What's the song about?: Beauty in conflict.
How long did it take to write/record? I would say a couple of days to write, one day to track and probably two days or so to mix, with revisions.
Is this track from a forthcoming release/existing release? It's from a forthcoming release, yet to be announced or named.
What was inspiring you during the song's writing and recording? I tend to write from imagination, rather than pure experience, but I had some sad thoughts and that drove the emotion, rather than the lyrical narrative.
We'll like this song if we like... Jesus & Mary Chain, Beach House and Deerhunter.
Do you play it differently live? We don't harmonise live on this. We used a Carvin amp as well as my Vibrolux in the studio. We are thinking of using sample snares live.
When and where is your launch/next gigs? We are launching this show at the Metro in Adelaide on August 11.
