Single title: Drowning

What's the song about? It's a pretty personal song, but I'd like the listener to take away their own meaning.

How long did it take to write/record? When writing this song, we had a few different versions before we landed on this final one. It's so funny now going back and listening to old versions and thinking, "What if?"

Is this track from a forthcoming release/existing release? Yes, we are very excited to be releasing our debut EP Tides later this year. We will also be releasing a second single/video that will be filmed at our Melbourne show. 

What was inspiring you during the song's writing and recording? During writing I was inspired by what was happening in my life at that time. The song was quite old by the time it came to recording so we just smashed it out. 

We'll like this song if we like… Wolf Alice, The Pretty Reckless, Led Zeppelin, Royal Blood, The Dead Weather. The EP is diverse, different to the single.

Do you play it differently live? Rhys likes to mix it up a bit when we play it live, to keep it interesting, so you'll always hear new little solos here and there. 

When and where is your launch/next gig? Our single launch is on 25 Jul at Prince Bandroom.
