Single title? Silence

What's the song about? A schizophrenic man finding solace in the woman of his dreams and his pain when he is without her.

How long did it take to write/record? It was written in a day, the band loved it, then we wrote nine versions for writing's sake and ended up settling with the original.

Is this track from a forthcoming release/existing release? At this moment it's a stand alone single - we're in talks about how we will unravel our next project.

What was inspiring you during the song's writing and recording? A major life change and lack of sleep. I had an experience with a similar situation, finding solace and peace of mind. The story then thickened with that spark.

We'll like this song if we like... Groove-oriented love songs, theatrical pop music and long walks on the beach.

Do you play it differently live? Subtly, we have to expand our quiver of instruments to reproduce it exactly, but for now it's a big live version and sounds fresh.

When and where is your launch/next gig? 25 Nov, Oxford Art Factory.
