What's the song about? A song about what and where home can be. A story of longing, reminiscing, reflection, acceptance and gratitude.
How long did it take to write/record? It came together really quickly, writing and recording. I wanted to keep the vocals simple and layered, draped with dreamy strings and melodic horns.
Is this track from a forthcoming release/existing release? It's from my existing self-titled EP release.
What was inspiring you during the song's writing and recording? I was exploring themes of home, what home means to different people at a time when I was settling myself and family into life in SA. I wanted to write a song about that process.

Do you play it differently live? When I play it solo just me and my keys there's a stronger jazz feel I guess.
When and where is your launch/next gigs? Launch is on 27th August at The Wheatsheaf Hotel, Adelaide.
