Single title? Last Kind Words
What's the song about? Decaying family structures, R. Crumb, pissing in the river, the blues and howlin' feedback.
How long did it take to write/record? Writing: about an hour at home, about an in the rehearsal room + six viewings of Crumb somewhere in there. Recording: a day because Dave Parkin is a wizard.

Is this track from a forthcoming release/existing release? Yep! Our first full length 'A Handful of Ash' will have this very song second in line - LP due early 2017 at some time.
What was inspiring you during the song's writing and recording? Aforementioned documentary on man drawing things, reflecting on my own family life, the clatter of a steel guitar and like a jar of coffee.
We'll like this song if we like... Son House, rollin' floor toms, Savages, reverb, Charles Ives' Fourth Symphony.
Do you play it differently live? Maybe a little quicker if it's early in the set. Maybe a little slower if it's later in the set. We also tag on a 'tasteful' intro.
When and where is your launch/next gig? The launch is this Friday, Oct 21, at the best new venue in town - Badlands Bar not Grill w/mates Foam, Mung Dahl and Nerve Quakes!
