Single Focus: Psychedelic Porn Crumpets

 

What's the song about? A transitional grasp of reality while dining on Hawaiian fungi.

 

How long did it take to write/record? I think I hummed it for a week or two before capturing any sounds, once the opening riff was down everything else flowed out exponentially in this quirky Arabic manner which took a few days.

 

Is this track from a forthcoming release/existing release? It will be on our debut album, High Visceral Part 1, set for release mid January.

 

What was inspiring you during the song's writing and recording? Alternating head spaces really. My friend had these super strain mushrooms that we went to town on, it was a good week before I could string a proper sentence together. Luckily my ears still worked.

 

We'll like this song if we like… Space ships fueled by fuzz.

 

Do you play it differently live? Other than the occasional meltdown its usually on point. We worked on this track a bit more purely because the recording was so fierce, it needed to be paralleled live.
