Single title? Made Of Glass
What's the song about? Made Of Glass is about making a judgement on someone or something without taking the full picture into account.
How long did it take to write/record? This is one of the few songs I've come up with where the guitar riff and the lyrics flowed pretty easily in the writing process.
Is this track from a forthcoming release/existing release? This track is from our forthcoming debut EP, due early 2016.
What was inspiring you during the song's writing and recording? The song was spurred by a situation that happened while my drummer Cam and I were rehearsing. The lyrics are pretty simple but very honest towards how I was feeling at the time.
We'll like this song if we like... Blues, roots and John Butler-esque guitar style.
Do you play it differently live? Our live version of this track is pretty similar to our recorded version, even though the lyrics are about something more serious, it's a really fun, upbeat song to play.
When and where is your launch/next gig? Made Of Glass will launch 15 Aug at Indi Bar, Doors open from 8, entry $10.
