Single title? Humble Digs
What's the song about? It's a homesick song, about lighting one up and being transported to the coastal small town I grew up in.
How long did it take to write/record? We took the song into the studio over two days and completely rewrote the lyrics overnight. It came together very spontaneously.
Is this track from a forthcoming release/existing release? We have started work recording other tracks and it may become the first single of a new EP next year.
What was inspiring you during the song's writing and recording? I was feeling homesick and also listening to a lot of fuzzy guitar bands like Witch and Ty Segall, which is a sound we haven't experimented with before.
We'll like this song if we like... Fuzz, Witch, Sleep, Smashing Pumpkins, Cream, Black Sabbath.
Do you play it differently live? Sometimes we jam out in the solo!
When and where is your launch/next gigs? We're launching the track at Mojo's Bar on Sat 15 Dec.
