Single title? Strange Addiction
What's the song about? It's about the thrill of being addicted to strange things. It's based on the American TV show Strange Addiction.
How long did it take to write/record? We wrote the song while we were recording our EP in 2014. It's changed quite a bit since then then. We did some pre-production with Joel (Quartermain) and he really helped with the final arrangement.
Is this track from a forthcoming release/existing release? We are releasing Strange Addiction as a single and video clip. It will be available everywhere digitally on 22 Aug, and will be part of another EP we want to release early next year.
What was inspiring you during the song's writing and recording? When we first wrote this song it sounded very straight-ahead rock'n'roll; Joel helped us tighten the structure to add a bit of diversity to the track. We wanted something a bit different.
We'll like this song if we like... Maximum rock'n'roll, dancing and whisky.
Do you play it differently live? I think our songs are always played differently live - it depends on the feedback you get from the audience. Legs Electric love to jam and every show is different.
