Single title? Redemption
How long did it take to write/record? We wrote the song while ago, then never finished it. When brainstorming the storyline of the new EP, we decided it would fit perfectly, so we changed a few riffs and lyrics to suit.
Is this track from a forthcoming release/existing release? Redemption is Chapter Five of the Affidavit release. Affidavit is six songs all telling one story and each track is in sequence to a part of the story.
What was inspiring you during the song's writing and recording? We pretty much wrote the whole EP off one siren sample in Captured — that's how we came up with the idea of a themed EP and what direction the music would follow.
We'll like this song if we like... Fast breakdowns with huge choruses.
Do you play it differently live? Nope, all of our tracks generally are played identical to the recording — it is our stage presence that really captures the crowd and how we present the songs.
When and where is your launch/next gig? We head off on our second national tour on 10 Feb and have 12 dates all around Australia including Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and of course Perth.
