Single title? Towers
What's the song about? Towers is an exploration of the devastation and humiliation of unrequited love; the consequences of being all-consumed by a relationship.
How long did it take to write/record? We recorded the guide track in April 2016 and worked on it slowly over the course of the year. It was mastered in January 2017. It took me around two months to write it.
Is this track from a forthcoming release/existing release? I am currently planning to include Towers on my debut album, which has not yet been recorded or written. I am in the process of writing the rest of the album.
What was inspiring you during the song's writing and recording? I was studying Literature in high school, predominantly poetry. This unconsciously influenced a lot of my songwriting. I now perceive both Drive and Towers as odes to the poems of Christina Rossetti.

Do you play it differently live? We play the song live with a string introduction, unlike the recording (the strings are in the track).
