How long did it take to write/record? Five minutes to write chords and lyrics, 30 seconds to write the solo, three months to rehearse and half a day to record.
Is this track from a forthcoming release/existing release? There are two other tracks that took up the rest of the recording day and we'll release them soon.
What was inspiring you during the song's writing and recording? Our bass player Chris Neylon has a pretty impressive moustache, I'm pretty sure I was thinking "If only i could be that cool…" Then I realised that I was that cool.
We'll like this song if we like… Country hoedowns and regional swap meets.
Do you play it differently live? We have three versions — first sounds like the record, second is entirely spoken word, and the last might be a Kasey Chamber's cover.
When and where is your launch/next gig? Damien Grove our drummer is currently converting his ute into a mobile stage, it should be ready for a gig at your house around June. (This maybe a lie).
