Single title? Joanie Hates Chachi
What's the song about? It's Chachi's confession to Joanie that he loves Fonzie (and sometimes Potsie). It starts: "Joanie, baby... what went wrong?"
How long did it take to write/record? I wrote this four years ago, demoed it immediately and we recorded it three years ago with Jay Whalley at the controls. We sent it away to be made and then Joanie died in real life!

Is this track from a forthcoming release/existing release? This is our third "7 EP - it's a prelude to our next album. We have been slowly chipping away at that and it will (hopefully) be available by Christmas - if we win the lotto/rob a bank.
What was inspiring you during the song's writing and recording? How much I though Chachi was a fink and didn't deserve Joanie. Happy Days was a big deal when I grew up. We only had two channels in the country so you watched everything diligently.
We'll like this song if we like... Songs of sorrow made funny by sexual politics and catchy hooks. Also John Irish's drumming is better than everything.
Do you play it differently live? We used to play it but as a mark of respect for Erin Moran, it's only available on vinyl, never to be played again… and we've forgotten how to play it.
When and where is your launch/next gigs? 20 May, Botany View Hotel
