Single title? Hallelujah Heartache
What's the song about?: Numbness, the monotony of life, finding joy in sadness, celebrating being able to feel again.
How long did it take to write/record?: We wrote it in 2014 and recorded it around mid year last year. It has taken us a while to actually get it finished and released.
Is this track from a forthcoming release/existing release?: Yes, we are recording an album in the coming months and hoping to release it by the end of the year.
What was inspiring you during the song's writing and recording? Changing the tuning on my guitar, quitting my meds, the film Melancholia, The Drones.
We'll like this song if we like... Girls chanting, things that alternate between quiet and loud, Dan Electro guitars that go out of tune.
Do you play it differently live? It's pretty similar but I don't have a tube screamer (yet). It still gets pretty loud towards the end and is one of our favourite songs to play.
When and where is your launch/next gig? 9 Apr, The Bird. We have some killer supports too. Jacob Diamond, French Rockets and The Spunloves. We're stoked to have them all on board.
