Single title? Electric By Sea

What's the song about? It's about a girl I met while travelling. The feeling when I met her (Electric) and she lived overseas (By Sea).

How long did it take to write/record? The song took about a month to record. Just getting the sound right, to get that upbeat feel musically, was important. Electric By Sea was originally just an acoustic song.

Is this track from a forthcoming release/existing release? This track is from my EP called Tajeon that has been released independently. The inspiration for the EP title Tajeon is from my nephews names: Taj and Leon (just combining their names).

What was inspiring you during the song's writing and recording? The music I was listening to at the time is what inspired the process: Prince, Amy Winehouse, David Bowie, John Coltrane, The Meters, Jeff Buckley, Chris Cornell and Soundgarden.

We'll like this song if we like... If you like David Bowie (post Ziggy Stardust) up until the Let's Dance album.

Do you play it differently live? I play the songs on my own acoustically.

When and where is your launch/next gig? I am currently on hiatus as I am focusing on a new song that I want to record called Locked Or Free.
