Single title? Air Mail

What's the song about? This song is about having feelings for someone who isn't physically present in your life at the given time.

How long did it take to write/record? I wrote this song almost two years ago and recorded it over a couple of days with producer genius/shredlord Oscar Dawson who really brought the song to life in April this year.

Is this track from a forthcoming release/existing release? This track is the first single from my debut EP due out early 2016.

What was inspiring you during the song's writing and recording? We were using a lot of Springsteen and Haim references in the studio. But when my band played our original live arrangement in the first take, we abandoned all references and went with our gut.

We'll like this song if we like... Short and sweet pop songs that still manage to squeeze in a fanging guitar solo.

Do you play it differently live? Not really — it's a super vibey song, which is perfect for a live show. We don't really adjust it to bring the vibe as it's naturally in the tune!

When and where is your launch/next gig? Air Mail will have its official launch at The Old Bar on 11 Nov. Plastic and Eilish Gilligan will be rounding out the line-up of this phat gig.
