"You don't get that kind of passion from a button."

What does your store specialise in? We specialise in new and secondhand vinyl. Recently we've been putting a lot of effort into expanding our new release section. The store is also licensed, so you can grab a drink and browse away.
What's on high rotation on the store stereo at the moment and why? The Murlocs — Young Blindness. These guys are a favourite of mine from Melbourne, the Flightless label keeps putting out great records.
What does a record store offer that clicking or tapping a button can't? My favourite memories from record stores are the great conversations I've had with owners and the fantastic recommendations I've walked out of the shops with. You don't get that kind of passion from a button.

Despite declines in other areas of the industry, vinyl is seeing an increase in sales. Why do you think that is? I think increasingly more young people want to physically own their favourite records. Vinyl is a really nice way to collect those albums and really cherish the art and the connection you have with the music.
What have you got planned on Record Store Day (including any sweet exclusives you'll have)? We're going to have a heap of RSD items for sale of course! We're also doing a big sale on the day too, 10% off any new vinyl and 25% off the secondhand stuff.
