The Precinct has a huge selection of outdoor options to meet your summer needs including one courtyard with a fully retractable roof, making it perfect for this time of year. Originally established in 1926, the venue will be transformed into a futuristic jungle-themed oasis for New Year’s Eve.

From fresh salads and roast chickens to classic pub fare such as parma and steak, there is something to satisfy your appetite – from fresh and light options to something heartier. The venue’s special summer menu focuses on fresh local-sourced food where possible, with a large variety of dishes available including pulled beef burgers with housemade tomato relish; potato gnocchi with asparagus, zucchini, pancetta and parmesan; and Atlantic salmon fillet with herb salad and white anchovies. The extensive wine list is specifically designed with the menu in mind, however nearly all on the list can also be enjoyed on its own. Along with the wine, the constantly flowing cold craft ciders, beers and homemade mojitos provide the Precinct with ample options to choose from this summer.

The Cape Grim Beef used at the Precinct Hotel is 100% grass-fed, completely free of hormones and consistently at the top of 18 MSA grades.
