Food is served to you while you sit on recycled furniture; the food being childhood favourites like crinkle-cut chips and sausage rolls.
The Canteen Menu is laid out like a school tuck shop order form, with items like chicken nuggets: free-range chicken, lemon pepper and thyme and a sticky Asian marmalade. Get fancy with Chef Dean’s Lamb Ribs: massaged with an award-winning blend of coffee, wattleseed and treacle rub then smoked for a mouth-watering six hours, served with stonefruit and akudjurra chutney. There is also the playful Chocolate Nemesis: a flourless chocolate cake made with Venezuelan chocolate, served with drunken strawberries. 
To drink, choose from craft beer or cider or a wine: predominantly a Western or South Australian range with a sprinkling of international talent across the menu such as the Two Men Malbec Rose from Argentina. Alternatively, try The Liquid Nitrogen Espresso Martini; the crown jewel in the cocktail menu.
FUN FACT
There are too many fun facts to mention at this place. Basically, everything that you see inside this place that you think would be in a classroom actually has come from an old classroom somewhere in the world; the double-sided wall clock comes from Boston University. And yes, the old Baker light telephone on the wall actually works and customers are allowed to use it!
