Can you give us a tweet-length summary of your show? Breakout Comedy is a marvellous showcase of emerging comedians. Hand-picked and nurtured, ready to dazzle our audience with our wit and charm.

What was the last thing you couldn’t stop laughing at? When my nan asked me “How do Power Rangers eat, with all that stuff on their face?”

What’s your favourite comedy film and why? Anything by Mel Brooks. He’s just a classically funny man. Who doesn’t love a film with constant sexual innuendo and a few catchy songs thrown in?

What happened the last time you were heckled? I’m very rarely heckled. However, on my 19th birthday, multiple chairs were thrown at me on stage at Phuklub... sure it was friendly chair-throwing, but it was still traumatic.

What profession do you think would provide the best comic material? Contemporary movement lecturers/practitioners, or anyone who mutters the words “Feldenkrais Technique” and forces you to embody a swan... they are a goldmine! I know this, because I take their classes.
