PREMIERE: Whitaker - 'I Am An Animal' EP

Well-travelled Aussie outfit Whitaker are just over a week away from unleashing their new EP, I Am An Animal, on the world, and theMusic.com.au is proud to be hosting the premiere preview stream of the fresh work ahead of its release on 30 October.

Having cut their teeth on stages at home and abroad and spent a productive period in the UK following the international success of debut EP Wichita — from which they've seen tracks be synchronised to well-known TV series such as Suits and Teen Wolf, no big deal — the boys have returned to Australian shores ahead of their follow-up effort's release and launch to spread the love around the southern hemisphere a little more this time around.

The release finds Whitaker further honing and demonstrating their penchant for intelligent folk arrangements, punctuated with simultaneously retro and futuristic elements in the form of sweet synths and drum machines, straddling acoustic and electronic soundscapes with deft balance and a refinement beyond their years.
