The new fuzzed out hit from Perth rockers Sly Withers is far more compelling than its title suggests.
It’s been a while between drinks since the band’s self-titled debut album dropped and as such, their sound has evolved, encompassing a twangy, feel-good indie punk-edge, seemingly influenced by The Smith Street Band.
It’s the first cut from their second LP, due for release later this year and was recorded by local legends Mike Jelinek (Felicity Groom, The Growl, Psychedelic Porn Crumpets).
“The track serves as a reminder that, sure there are gonna be bad days, but you/I/we are good enough and shit gets better,” Sly Withers said of the track.
