Alt pop outfit led by Ryan Wyatt, Project Montreal, has their debut album, Patterns, geared up for release pretty soon. Today, they're offering up a taste with their first single, Colours, premiering exclusively on theMusic.com.au.
Having worked on the album with Grammy-winning arranger Van Dyke Parkes and Bob Ludwig, as well as the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra, the song features a smorgasbord of sounds that Wyatt wrote, arranged, orchestration, sampled and co-produced himself.
Project Montreal will play at The Bearded Lady in Brisbane on 16 January.
