Sydney-based singer-songwriter Michael P Cullen's internationally acclaimed recent full-length, True Believer, may have reared its head into the world back in September last year — following a protracted recording process dating to 2010 — but the singer-songwriter has yet to air it in the flesh for Aussie audiences, at least until now.
To that end, Cullen has announced a show with backing band The Soul Searchers — featuring/directed by album co-producer and long-time member of The Church Tim Powles — at Marrickville's Lazybones Lounge on Thursday 19 November in order to rectify that situation but, before they step out, theMusic.com.au is proud to be able to present the premiere airing of the long-time-coming video clip for new single Believer, the second of the album's nine tracks.
The clip was shot with assistance from the citizens of Hoskinstown, the village's RSL Memorial Hall, Graham Gall, Rebecca Nash and the team at Jarbo Productions. Check it out above, then head to the artist's Facebook page to give them a Like and help yourself stay on top of their movements around the traps in the near future.
True Believer is available for digital download via Cullen's Bandcamp.
