PREMIERE: Max Savage - True Believers

2 March 2016 | 2:51 pm | Staff Writer

Adelaide poet and rock'n'roll enthusiast Max Savage has dropped his new single True Believers today, exclusively here with us at theMusic.com.au.

The track True Believers is filled with the charm of Australian '80s rock, sometimes drawing influence from The Church. The lyrics are rife with political connotations, commenting on the leaders that hold on tightly to policies of the past.

Max Savage & The False Idols are dropping their debut album of the same name, True Believers, in the coming months — in the meantime, take a listen to the track.

Max Savage & The False Idols hit the road next month, with a tour that kicks off at The DogsBar in Melbourne on April 8, before hitting the rest of the country.
