With her Be So Good music video going viral a couple of years ago, it’s not surprising Perth singer-songwriter Lucy Peach’s latest offering is another stunning effort.
Girl, The World is just as charming and romantic as its predecessor and follows the folk songstress on her Sri Lankan honeymoon odyssey with her cameraman Richard, complete with jaw-dropping landscapes and wild animals.
The song itself is a “call to arms” from Peach’s Silver Tongue EP.
“One day I was snorkelling in a beautiful bay in Dunsborough thinking about how lucky I was to be alive, with the sun shining on my back and all that clear water,” Peach recalls.

“Then someone yelled, ‘Get out there's a shark!’ So I did and felt even luckier…wake up from the dream and go and get what you wanted.“
Lucy Peach plays Fairbridge Festival this Friday. Check out theGuide for all the info.
