After the release of their Wet Brain EP last year, Melbourne rascals Auntie Leo & The Backstabbers are back and ready to rock'n'roll in 2019 with a brand new double-single, Roaches. Harnessing a hectic six months which saw them supporting the likes of Amyl & The Sniffers, Regurgitator, Tired Lion, Drunk Mums and The Bennies, along with their own sold out headline shows, they're getting back in the wagon for a big run of shows over February/March to celeberate the release of Roaches.
And today, as presenting partners of the tour and just generally big fans of the band, we're ecstatic to premiere Roaches and its b-side, Down, a perfect one-two punch where the sea (surf-rock) meets the sand (country-blues). Do cowboys like going to the beach? We're not entirely sure, but if they did, Roaches and Down would provide the perfect soundtrack to whatever crazy shenanigans one would get up to at a beach hootenanny.
