More Ollie English More Ollie English

Soulful Adelaide-based singer-songwriter Ollie English has announced the release of his first EP, Cabin Thoughts, and theMusic.com.au is stoked to be premiering the work today ahead of its official release later this week.

Following the momentum gained from his recent Bluesfest slot and a recent run of shows in Adelaide coupled with the release of his first single, English is braced to unleash his first EP this week.

Cabin Thoughts was conceived in a cabin by the coast, demoed before pushing it through the live studio, with production by Craig James. The EP gives way to English’s falsetto vocals over a range of love-lost emotions visited from acoustic instrumentation and smooth soul to the raw dynamics of expression in stomping blues jams in a five-track show of diversity through English’s well-regarded abilities.

Ollie English will debut Cabin Thoughts on 9 December at The Jade Monkey (Adelaide) with his full band, featuring Louis Donnarumma, Joe Caporaso and Lewis Brideson, and support from Naomi Keyte and Laney & The Giants.
