South Coast psych trio Dos Enos have been working hard on new material, today releasing their newest hazy number, Harbourside, exclusively on theMusic.com.au.
The band detail that the song is about drummer/vocalist Joe Winkler's daily rendezvous to the local harbour, where he'd meet up with his mates.
"Harbourside is a track that encapsulates the reflective state of a man looking back on himself at the ripe old age of 15 … The alter ego steps in on the chorus in the present form, jamming it to the over confident kid he once was.
"Although these were the funnest and best times of life, running amok as an immortal grommet, skating, surfing, throwing rocks, egging stuff and chasing girls. Looking back with a 12-years-down-the-track perspective really paints the picture of the big changes that time permits. Because obviously we are real mature now... NOT!" Winkler jokes.
