The perfect soundtrack to your next sunny beer garden sesh, Brissy pop punk upstarts Columbia Buffet have given us the task of unveiling the cool new clip for their newest track, Shapes, today on theMusic.com.au.
The clip celebrates all that's good about growing up in Queensland — skating, having a beer with your bros and um, trashing a bedroom and a feather pillow. You'll also spot a heap of bands that Columbia Buffet grew up on getting a cheeky namedrop in the video — Regurgitator, anyone?
Vocalist/guitarist, Daniel Rogan, said of the song: "We feel Shapes is just an honest pop song that really speaks for itself. Bright and fun musically and lyrically it's just a shameless ‘growing up in Queensland and living with music’ tale."
The band is gearing up to launch the single at The Zoo on Friday, 18 December at a charity event — proceeds will go to Shake It Up Australia, who work to fund more research on treating Parkinson's Disease. The band will play with The Con And The Liar, Scotch And Cider and Columbia Calling.
