PREMIERE: Alex Watts - Cool Change (Vulture Street Tape Gang Remix)

Ahead of Melbourne singer/songwriter Alex Watts releasing his debut album Another Step In The Dark this August, theMusic.com.au are stoked to premiere an exclusive remix of one of his new songs by Wondercore Island trio Vulture Street Tape Gang.

The new single Cool Change is given the choppy, angular treatment by the trio, something Watts describes as "wonky and imperfect". 

"I saw Vulture Street Tape Gang when they came to Melbourne last year and was really impressed. Their music appeals to me because it’s a kind of wonky and imperfect mixture of vocals and beats with loads of personality to it.

"My personality is also wonky and imperfect so I knew it’d be a great team up for the Cool Change remix."

Watts is gearing up to launch Another Step In The Dark on 20 August at Hugs N Kisses, where he'll perform the album in full with a nine-piece band.
