Record you put on when you’re really miserable? La Bamba by Los Lobos. Or just stew in it, the misery stew, milk it, noting the feeling - then after that, question it, then make the choice not to be miserable because I'm lucky to have and be.

Record you put on when you bring someone home? I've an old AMI Continental Juke Box 200 I've collected over the years - I say "take your pick".

Most surprising record in your collection? Howlin' Wolf - Smokestack Lightnin' and I Wanna Be Loved By You by Marilyn Monroe.

Last album you bought/downloaded/streamed? Bought Manfred Mann's first LP on CD format. I used to have the LP but it got lost ways back.

When and where are your next gigs? Shoppingtown Hotel, Melbourne on March 2.
