The Records That Helped Shape Errorsmith's Sound

Errorsmith is an alias of Erik Wiegand, a German producer and the creator of the Razor synth for Native Instruments. With his first album in 13 years, Superlative Fatigue, now out and an appearance at Unsound Adelaide next month, we caught up with the legend to get an insight into his influences.

First record you bought? Not sure, maybe: Human League - Dare
Record you put on when you’re really miserable? Curtis Mayfield - Curtis
Record you put on when you bring someone home? Ernie - If I Knew You Were Comin’ I’d’ve Baked a Cake
Most surprising record in your collection? Museum Collection Berlin (West) - Musik im Andenhochland
