Ozfest Focus: Tired Lion

Will you do an Australian-themed set at Ozfest? If so, what have you planned? We aren't going to do any Waltzing Matildas or anything but we may throw on some cork hats. We'll stick to Aussie beer too.

What's your fave thing about events around Australia Day? Australia Day has always been a fun time to catch up with mates, listen to music, have a BBQ. When you don't have the luxury of a huge backyard it's good that venues are giving people somewhere to do that.

What's something that's quintessentially Australian? Overcooked sausages.

Do you think there's a difference between playing a big event like Ozfest when there is an all-Aussie bill as opposed to when international acts feature? It's always great playing with Aussie bands 'cause you bump into them all the time at events; generally regardless of how well you know each other there's an automatic niceness between us all. Sometimes international = ego; not always though.

What time are you playing at Ozfest? We aren't too sure yet but I think it's late arvo so it'll be good to party on afterwards with all the punters [and] watch the other bands.
