US punk trio The Coathangers are in the final days before releasing their new full-length Nosebleed Weekend, with the three-piece offering up smoldering new single Had Enough for its Australian premiere with The Music today.
The song is, obviously, taken from the new album, which was the first work to be recorded at California's historic Valentine Studios since the 1960s — the first time the band have ventured outside their native Atlanta to lay down a record.
The change in scenery has clearly done them good, though, with Had Enough merely one such slice of the LP's aural assault, following previous track Make It Right and maintaining the copious songwriting intelligence for which the band has become so renowned over the past 10 years, all bound together with indelible rough-hewn edges and DIY aesthetics.
Nosebleed Weekend will be released via Suicide Squeeze/Smack Face Records on Friday 15 April.
