What will be special about spending NYE at your venue? The Miserable Little Bastards get our gear off and schtick on — an eight-piece line-up including all members of Melbourne's own Clinkerfield and Dave Evans (Band Who Knew Too Much), playing harmony-fuelled, lively gypsy-bluegrass/depression era tunes.

What is your fondest NYE memory? Sitting on a rooftop in a sleepy country town with friends, a guitar, and a five-day test match-size esky of beer.

What is your NY resolution? I resolve to abolish resolution, unless to absolve a predilection for absolute resolution.

What should I be drinking to ring in the new year? To really get you rocking, try a drink my friend calls "Chambulls" - half champagne, half Red Bull. The result is as it sounds. Chambullic.

Next year will be the year of... Shorter beards

What is your hangover cure? Put on a hat, take plenty of your favourite tipple, perch yourself at the wooden table next to the Park St bike track, and sing raucously/throw empties at sweaty passing cyclists.
