What made you want to get involved with Newtown Festival Week? Local for the last 12 years, vintage hair and makeup workshop at my salon on the Saturday night, 7 Nov, 4.30—6.30pm, having a live band after, pink martinis and canapes... great start to Saturday night.

What is it about Newtown that makes it a great place to hold events or have a business there? The diversity; lots of creativity, artists, designers, bespoke community still dwell here and keep Newtown real.

How would you describe Newtown to someone who hasn't been there before? Vibrant, eclectic, young, hip-happening (full of starving struggling psychotic artists)... lol.

What ways do you think Newtown could be improved? By not letting big chain stores in! Letting more tables and chairs outside, letting dogs in everywhere.
